            LО8. To make decisions autonomously in difficult and unpredictable situations. LO10. To analyze the social and individual context of the problems of the individual, family, social group, community, formulate the purpose and objectives of social work, plan interventions in complex and unpredictable circumstances in accordance with the values of social work. LO11. To organize joint activities of specialists in various fields and non-professionals, prepare them for social work, initiate team building and coordinate teamwork. LO13. To demonstrate initiative, independence, originality, generate new ideas for solving professional problems.LO17. To build independently and maintain purposeful, professional relationships with a wide range of people, representatives of various communities and organizations, argue, persuade, conduct constructive negotiations, productive conversations, discussions, be tolerant of alternative opinions.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            The student must know: basic methodological approaches and theoretical models in the study of gender and gender relations.
The student must be able to analyze the policy of the Ukrainian state on gender education.
The student must have basic skills: to systematize and classify knowledge on gender issues, to give an objective assessment of views and phenomena on this issue.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The purpose of the discipline is for students to master theoretical and methodological issues of gender differences in the field of professional career and acquire practical skills of using the acquired knowledge in social pedagogy, development and conduct of gender research.
The course reveals the patterns of development of gender policy in Ukraine and the world, especially the professional activities of men and women. During the study of the discipline students reveal: 1) practical skills of analysis of gender issues; 2) skills of using gender indicators and indices; 3) ability to conduct gender research and make recommendations for the implementation of the gender equality program.

            Planned learning activities and teaching methods
        
        
            Lecture, seminar, Individual work, preparation of presentations, analytical materials, reports on solving practical problems.
        
    
            Assessment methods and criteria
        
        
            The maximum number of points on the exam - 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to the semester - 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points allocated for the exam). Students who scored a total of less than the critical-minimum minimum - 20 points before the exam are not allowed. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is -36 points.
Excellent 90-100 points.
Good 75-89 points.
Satisfactory 60-74 points.
Fail  0-59 points.
