Learning outcomes
Understand the essence and specific features of project activities in the context of solving professional problems of international information analyst. Know the basic conceptual approaches and current trends in PM development. Features of application of Agile technologies. Understand the benefits and possible threats of applying a project approach in management. Understand the essence and distinguish the features of the main tasks of project management. Understand the features of project management functions according to PMBoK. Understand the principles of determining the structure of project objectives, project strategy, project structuring. Know the principles and methods of organizing effective communication in the team. Be able to define, characterize and structure the project context. Be able to form the structure of project objectives, choose the most effective project strategy. Be able to develop project structuring, structure resources and results.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- knowledge of the basics of management, psychology and ethics of communications; - ability to determine the main goal of the project and structure tasks according to a set of criteria; form a set of performance criteria, create and analyze monitoring reports; - possession of basic PC skills and application of software, monitoring and analysis of the current state of indicators of efficiency

Project life cycle structure. Approaches to project structuring. 7. Project structuring. WBS. OBS. Responsibility matrix. 8. Resource planning. Project budget. 9. Calendar planning. Network planning. Project management software. 10. Current trends in the development of PM technologies. Waterfall / Agile. Scrum. Kanban. Software for organizing joint work on the project.

Lecture, practical classes, case studies, educational discussions, individual and group practical tasks
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Activity and participation in the discussion and in group practical work, the quality of argumentation in the discussion; the quality of the individual task – up to 60 points. 2. Tasks for individual work (case study presentation) – up to 20 points. 3.Module control work (online testing) – up to 20 points.
