1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Geology", "Geomorphology", "Hydrology and oceanology", "Meteorology", "Soil science", "Biogeography", etc. 2. To know the properties and regularities of the development of the geographical envelope, the flow of exogenous and endogenous processes and the consequences of such flow, have a concept of the natural complex and its features, human influence on the environment and the consequences of such an impact on the global, regional and local levels. 3. Course content
Educational discipline "Physical geography of continents and oceans" is devoted to consideration of natural conditions and studying the patterns of development of individual parts of the geographical envelope - continents and oceans. The characteristics of the subjects are revealed sequentially territories, starting from the peculiarities of their geographical position and coastal zones and ending with physical and geographical zoning with selection and description natural complexes of subglobal and regional levels of dimensions (natural zones, zones, subzones, countries and regions). The discipline is divided into three content parts (modules), which reveal peculiarities of natural conditions of oceans and continental formations. Geographical differentiation is among the issues to be thoroughly covered shells at the sub-global and regional levels, analysis of natural components of a specific continent / ocean (including its parts), their interdependence and interconnection, interaction between continents and oceans as a factor in the formation of unique features of the Earth's nature. The educational process is built from a system of lectures and practical classes works The lecture format of classes reveals and explains important theoretical information in relation to the natural features of the continents and oceans, reveals and establishes patterns of their development over time. In practical classes it is assumed consolidation of educational material, taking into account and using weekends theoretical provisions when performing tasks with a contour map and thematic maps of the atlas.
