Prerequisites and co-requisites
2.1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Soil Science", "Biogeography". 2.2. To know the main worldview concepts of world development; effects of these threats to Ukraine, the essence of global and regional geoecological pro- a problem of the modern world; to understand systemic approaches to their mitigation from the the role of the main population groups. 2.3. To be able to realize the values ​​of civil (free democracy social) of society and the need for its sustainable development, to show character anthropogenic pressure in the system "man - society - nature", under conditions of non- sufficiency of information, finding the necessary information on the Internet and analyze the received information. 2.4. Possess elementary skills of analyzing complex geoecological logical problems under the angle of economic and social factors; works with car- topographical materials and use of professional terminology.
Course content
The educational discipline is devoted to teaching global problems, deepening theoretical knowledge about the state of the world at the beginning of the third millennium, the formation of future specialists in geo- ecological thinking and competencies. There are separate components of the discipline highlighting the complex nature of the climate change process and related issues problematic issues - desertification, loss of biodiversity, food resources crops, drinking water and population migration. Lecture materials reveal the pro- problems of demographic explosion, urbanization, pollution of the world ocean and internal treacherous seas, shortage of water resources and dangers associated with the circulation of current sic compounds and chemicals. The functional block of the discipline involves mastering the following components, as the ability to apply basic knowledge of natural sciences, the ability to self- carefully research, analyze the elements of state environmental policy, aimed at adaptation to global environmental problems, public participation in the decision-making process, best practices for mitigating anthropogenic nature and ways to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Ukraine by 2030 year (TSSR-30).
