Learning outcomes
The student must know the main components of the system of intellectual property law in Ukraine, objects of intellectual property law, the acquisition (origination) algorithm legal protection of various objects of intellectual property, rights and obligations of owners of protective documents for objects of intellectual property rights, ways of disposing of the right to objects of intellectual property rights, cases of violation of the rights of owners of valid protective documents. The student must be able to define the main concepts of the course, define intellectual property issues in the norms of the legislation of Ukraine, define the main components international system of protection and protection of intellectual rights property

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The educational discipline uses the results of studying the mandatory disciplines "Introduction to university studies", "Philosophy", "Selected sections of labor law and the basics of entrepreneurial activity", "Computer technologies".
Course content
Studying the discipline allows one to understand the methods and techniques of scientific and pedagogical activity. A significant part of the program consists of practical tasks, in particular work planning, writing lesson notes, essays and other forms of work. In order to learn theoretical material and perform practical tasks, students are recommended to familiarize themselves with the lists of scientific literature for each topic, study textbooks and manuals, as well as use other sources: laws of Ukraine and international norms on intellectual property, periodical press, scientific popular magazines, Internet sites, etc. Tasks (learning objectives): To ensure the intellectual and social development of the person seeking education through learning the basics of legal and economic aspects of intellectual property.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation: control is carried out according to the following principle. The academic semester has two content modules. Since the performance of independent work fully includes checking the learning of the lecture material, control work is not carried out. The overall evaluation during the semester is performed based on the sum of the results of independent work and independent tasks. Completion of independent work in each of the modules with a total score of at least 18 points (out of 30) is mandatory for admission to the credit. for each The final assessment is in the form of a credit. the assessment form is a computer test. (rated from 0 to 40 points). The condition for achieving a positive grade for a discipline is to obtain a total number of points (for the semester assessment and credit combined) of at least 60 points, while the grade for the final assessment cannot be less than 24 points.
