The scientific basis of phytodesign of various types of interiors (hotels, restaurants, sanatoriums, office premises, gyms, winter gardens, houses, daycare centers) is considered. Modern methods and directions of gardening are presented (vertical living compositions, string gardens, mini gardens, windowsill gardens, terrariums, florariums, rutaria). The possibilities of landscaping as a means of optimizing the functional regime of the premises are shown. Issues of the concept of development and ecodesign technology are highlighted.
