The purpose of the discipline "Linguistic features of Chinese poetic discourse" is to attract oriental students to the literary and aesthetic values of the East, to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the literary process in China and to educate them in the practical ability to analyze poetic works of different eras. The main task associated with the development of Chinese literature is the study of factual material on specific examples of historical and literary heritage. The discipline is one of the components of comprehensive training in the specialty "philology (Oriental languages and literatures (translation inclusive))" under the program "Chinese language and literature and translation, English", selective block "Chinese studies: linguistics and translation".

The course provides for the following forms of training organization: lecture and seminar classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: the answer to the seminar lesson, the report-analysis of scientific literature and lexicographic sources, control work with open answers, project work with Internet resources, final control work (modular work). Detailed planned educational events and teaching methods are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.

Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular theoretical training, which is 40% of the total assessment, and practical training, which is 60% of the total assessment. Semester number of points are formed by points received by the student for classroom work and for independent work; As a result: in the maximum dimension of 100 points, in the minimum dimension of 60 points. The discipline ends with a credit, which is exhibited based on the results of the student's work throughout the semester and does not provide for additional assessment measures. Evaluation criteria are presented in the working program of the discipline, published on the official website of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology.
