Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basic concepts in the field of general and social psychology, psychology
personality, the basics of psychological counseling at the level of the graduate student
training at the educational and qualification level "bachelor" of the Kyiv National
Taras Shevchenko University. . *
2. Be able to use the knowledge and basic skills of psychological counseling
at the level of a student who has completed his / her educational qualification level

Course content
The purpose of the discipline - to create a holistic view of the process of individual psychological counseling, its content, principles and technology; expanding knowledge and skills of practical human assistance. Discipline summarizes knowledge of current trends in psychological care, integrates psychological views on the principles and techniques of counseling and psychotherapy. The workshop is aimed at actively mastering the basic skills of conducting a consultative interview, developing ways to solve advisory tasks and understanding the mechanisms of advisory influence. Course content: theoretical foundations of counseling and psychotherapy, dialogic interaction as a basis of counseling and psychotherapy, principles and structure of counseling interaction, types of psychological counseling, request in counseling and psychotherapy, micro-skills of counseling and interviewing, communication techniques, psychological counseling and psychotherapy.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Speech answers, analytical report, written test, practical tasks, report on practical work (case), training, abstract work, report on independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment during the training period: 1. Speech answers (presentation at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates, additions, practical exercises): 40/30 points
2. Abstract report: 20/10 points
3. Report on independent work: 20/10 points
4. Final test: 20/10 points
Organization of assessment: Assessment is carried out during all types of training sessions and based on the results of independent work.
The final lesson involves: 1) analysis of typical consultation requests and
2) experimental sketches (report, supervision).
The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100.
