PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 7. Understand the main problems of philology and approaches to their solution using appropriate methods and innovative approaches. PLO 11. To know the principles, technologies and techniques of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and Turkish and English languages. PLO 15. Carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of different styles and genres.

Full-time form

1. Successfully complete the courses: Fundamentals of Translation Theory, Integrated Discipline Turkish Language (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th semester), Integrated Discipline Translation Practice (Turkish) Part 1 Fundamentals of Translation Practice (3rd and 4th semester); 2. To know the theoretical foundations of general translation theory, ways to achieve adequate translation and basic methods and techniques of translation; 3. Possess the skills of conducting discussions when discussing topics from the course "Translation Practice" and basic skills of language and speech competence in Turkish at A2 level.

The discipline "Translation Practice" is included in the list of compulsory components ("Translation Practice (5th semester)" and "Translation Practice (6th semester)") of the complex multi-semester discipline "Translation Practice (Turkish)" and forms the professional basis for the comprehensive training of future specialists in the specialty 035 "Philology" (035.68 "Oriental Languages and Literatures (translation inclusive), the first one is Turkish"). This discipline is a logical continuation of the courses "Turkish Language", "Fundamentals of Translation Theory" and "Fundamentals of Translation Practice" and is taught in the V-VI semesters of the bachelor's degree in accordance with the curriculum of the educational and scientific program "Turkish Language and Literature and Translation, English". The course is taught in the form of practical classes in Ukrainian and Turkish. The course is taught over two semesters and ends in the fifth semester with a midterm and in the sixth semester with an exam.

Practical classes; independent work.

Evaluation of semester work: 1. Answer at a practical lesson: 6 - 12 points. 2. Exercises: 6 - 12 points. 3. Translation/interpretation: 6 - 12 marks. 4. Module test №1: 9 - 12 points. 5. Module test №2: 9 - 12 points. 6. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
