Learning outcomes
To know the history of international relations, to propose a general idea of the schemes of interdependence and interaction in the geopolitical dimension. To be informed on the main models of foreign policy. To be able to find and analyze documents, characterize phenomena and facts from the practice of foreign policy of states, organizations and other actors in international relations. To systematize knowledge in order to study international relations, public communications and regional studies, involving theoretical and methodological approaches to political science, economics and law, interdisciplinary research.
Ability to argue the choice of ways to solve problems of a professional nature in the field of international relations, public communications and regional studies, to critically evaluate the results obtained and justify decisions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
- To know the theory and practice of foreign policy.
- To be able to analyze global processes and their impact on international and social relations, political and social systems, causes and consequences of foreign policy actions and decisions.
- To be able to collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy.
- Define the essence of draft international treaties, see gaps and shortcomings in the wording, identify errors
- Speak foreign languages, including English, for applied analytical research
Course content
Content of module 1.
Disintegration and integration processes of modernity as a component of foreign policy discourse
1. Foreign policy discourse: concepts, components, tasks, solutions
2. The reasons for the deepening of global disintegration and integration processes (1990 - 2021)
3. Factual and analytical materials on global and regional models of interaction between states.
Seminar: development of components for creating a new model of interstate relations
Content module 2.
Reformatting world powers and world alliances. Consensus decisions of self-preservation of states
4. Transitional processes of the European continent
5. The evolution of foreign policy of leading centrally influential countries and their impact on global processes.
Seminar: Perspective analysis of the paradigm of new international relations
6. New trends in new world politics. Public humanitarian sphere in foreign policy discourse. The experience of Ukraine.
