Specific admission requirements
You must pass a single entrance exam in a foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish) and a professional entrance exam in accordance with the Rules of Admission to the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Admission to the educational program is based on a bachelor's or master's degree / specialist.
Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements
1) passing of industrial (undergraduate) practice with a grade not lower than 75 points; 2) selection of a sample of disciplines from the curriculum and receipt the average score is not lower than "75" based on the results of all disciplines related to it included; 3) receiving a score of at least 75 points based on the results of the final certification (passing the qualifying exam and defending the master's thesis).
Programme learning outcomes
1. To know and understand the nature, sources and directions of evolution of international relations and foreign policy of states, the state of theoretical research in international relations and world politics. 2. Critically comprehend and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations and foreign policy of individual states. 3. Apply modern scientific approaches, methodologies and techniques to study the problems of international relations and foreign policy. 4. Analyze and evaluate problems of international and national security, international and international conflicts, approaches, methods and mechanisms of security in the international space and in foreign policy. 5. Collect, process and analyze information on the state of international relations, world politics and foreign policy of states. 6. Identify, assess and forecast political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations, foreign policy and global development. 7. Evaluate and analyze international and foreign policy problems and situations, offer approaches to solving such problems. 8. Fluent in state and foreign languages ​​orally and in writing, on professional and scientific issues. 9. Prepare analytical reports, reports and other documents on the state of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies. 10. Develop and implement applied research projects in international relations, foreign and world policy. 11. Carry out professional oral and written translation from / into a foreign language, in particular, on professional topics of international cooperation, foreign and world policy. 12. Formulate modeling tasks, create and research models of objects and processes of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies. 13. Participate in professional discussions in the field of international relations, foreign policy, public communications and regional studies, respect opponents and their views, convey to professionals and the general public information, ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience on professional issues. 14. Evaluate the results of their own work and be responsible for personal professional development. 15. Be able to determine the features of the formation and implementation of foreign policy strategies, the content of modern views on the nature of foreign policy strategies and strategic planning. 16. Evaluate events and processes of international relations and foreign policy taking into account the peculiarities of modern diplomatic service and norms of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, be able to apply this specific knowledge in foreign policy practice and for organizing and conducting international negotiations.

Examination regulations and grading scale
Written and oral exams, tests, differentiated tests, modular tests, essays, reports, presentations, current control, comprehensive qualifying exam of the educational program "Foreign Policy", defense of master's thesis. The final assessment of learning outcomes is carried out on a single 100-point scale in accordance with the Regulations on the procedure for assessing students' knowledge in the credit-module system of the educational process at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv: http://www.univ.kiev.ua/pdfs/official /Organization-of-the-educational-process.pdf The quality of the student's performance of all types of work and the level of knowledge and skills acquired by him is assessed. Assessment criteria are defined for each educational component and recorded in normative documents of the university (working programs of academic disciplines, etc.).
Оbligatory or optional mobility windows (if applicable)
On the basis of bilateral agreements between Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and foreign higher education institutions, cooperation is carried out in the field of international student mobility and the corresponding transfer of credits. The mechanism for implementing international credit mobility is regulated by the "Regulation on the procedure for implementing the right to academic mobility of the Taras Shevchenko KNU" dated June 29, 2016, as well as the "Regulation on the procedure for re-enrollment" of study results at the Taras Shevchenko KNU" dated 06/29/2016.
Work placement
Industrial (undergraduate) internship in the specialty without separation from study at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, other government agencies of Ukraine and foreign countries, domestic and foreign companies.
Work-based learning
Dual form of education is a combination of education and in-depth practical training through internships as a prerequisite for professional qualifications.
