Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and Turkish and English languages orally and in writing, and use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 14. To use Turkish and English, in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), to solve communicative problems in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life. PLO 20.1. Know the theoretical and practical methodology of organizing the translation process, be able to perform pre-translation analysis of texts of different styles and genres, perform consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, and know the basics of translator's cursive.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successfully master the professional disciplines during the previous courses; 2. Know the phonetic laws, grammatical structures and syntax rules of the Turkish language; 3. Have the skills of interpretation; 4. Master the basic principles of analysis and evaluation criteria of the source text and lexical, grammatical, syntactic and stylistic problems of translation.
Course content
The discipline "Turkish-Ukrainian Audiovisual Translation" is one of the components of comprehensive training in the field of 035 - Philology, specialty "Turkish Language and Literature, Western European Language and Translation" and an integral part of the formation of professional competence of future translators and specialists in the field of Turkish. The course is aimed at in-depth study of audiovisual translation methods and the development of professional competence of future translators. During the course of the course, students will develop methods of consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of audiovisual texts and improve their shorthand skills. The discipline is aimed at acquiring the skills and abilities necessary for future specialists to perform audiovisual translation and replenish their vocabulary. The academic discipline "Turkish-Ukrainian Audiovisual Translation" is an independent elective component of the educational and scientific program "Turkish language and literature, western european language and translation", level of higher education: first (8th semester; total - 90 hours, including 32 hours of practical classes, 58 hours of independent work). The program of the discipline consists of 2 content modules in each semester. Training is conducted in the form of practical classes. The discipline ends with a test.

Evaluation of semester work: 1. Answer at a practical lesson: 5 - 15 points. 2. Intermediate control (written work): 15 - 25 points. 3. Module test №1: 10 - 20 points. 4. Module test № 2: 10 - 20 points. 5. Credit: 12 - 20 points.
