Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the discipline "Eastern Language (Advanced Level)"; knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the methodology of teaching Eastern languages at higher educational institutions and related pedagogical disciplines; knowledge of the standards of educational process during the foreign language classes taught at higher educational institutions.
Course content
"Linguo-Didactic Fundamentals of the Japanese Language Learning" is a specialized discipline for students studying in the specialty "Philology (035.069 Philology (Eastern Languages and Literatures (Translation Inclusive), the first - Japanese)"; it is taught in the 8th semester, the scope of the discipline – 3 credits (30 hours of lectures, 14 hours of seminars, 46 hours of self-study), the form of control is an examination. The main objectives of the discipline are to explain the most significant and fundamentally important theoretical and practical issues of teaching Japanese well as the latest achievements of modern Japanese teaching methods, to reveal the integral parts and means of modern methodology as a science. Self-study of students covers individual study of special literature. The task is to improve effectiveness of mastering the material of the main course in methods of teaching Eastern languages at higher educational institutions as well as related courses. The program is designed taking into account the achievements of the main directions of teaching foreign languages, linguistics, and translation studies.
