Learning outcomes
Know the basic concepts, terms and categories that compose the essence of diplomatic correspondence; protocol requirements for the preparation and execution of documents of diplomatic correspondence; theoretical principles and methodology of public speech preparation; Prepare samples of the main types of documents of diplomatic correspondence; distinguish types of diplomatic correspondence documents; analyze the finished public speech according to the system of criteria
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
knowledge of the nature, sources and directions of the evolution of international relations, foreign policy and diplomacy of states, as well as of the scientific approaches, methodologies and techniques for researching international relations, foreign policy and diplomacy; Have a basic level of business communication: basic skills of information gathering, the ability to transmit information, basic skills of interpersonal interaction.
Course content
Module 1. 1. The role and place of diplomatic language and diplomatic documents in international relations. 2. Diplomatic background of official business style 3. Final documents of visits, negotiations 4. Contractual documents Module 2. 1. Subscription and impersonal notes in diplomatic correspondence 2. Stages and methods of preparation of public speech 3. Peculiarity of correspondence by electronic means

Seminar, test, blitz-poll, creative individual work, presentation
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 60 points. 2. Tasks for individual work (case study presentation) – up to 10 points. 3.Module control work – up to 30 points.
