Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the main content of the courses "Fundamentals of Individual Counseling" and "Clinical Psychology" at the level of a student who has completed the educational qualification level "Bachelor" of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
2. To have basic skills of professional psychological interaction at the level of a student who has completed his / her bachelor's degree at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
3. To have basic skills in finding, processing and analyzing information.
Course content
The discipline "Modern Psychotherapy Approaches" forms knowledge about the current state and trends in psychotherapy, lays the foundations of professional thinking in the context of solving problems of psychotherapeutic practice and research in the field of psychotherapy. The discipline is aimed at developing knowledge about modern psychotherapeutic approaches.

Assessment methods and criteria
Test, test work with open answers, assessment of participation in seminars, assessment of participation in practical classes.
Test based on the results of studying the 1st topic: 10/6 points
Test based on the results of studying the 2nd, 3rd and 4th topics: 10/6 points
Test with open answers: 10/6 points
Evaluation of participation in seminars: 20 / 12
Assessment of participation in practical classes: 10/6
Final assessment - exam.
The number of points of the final grade (maximum 100 points) consists of the sum of the points of the semester grade (maximum 60 points) and the points obtained by the student for the exam (maximum 40 points). If the number of points in the semester assessment is less than the critical-calculated minimum (36 points), additional tasks are given.
Organization of assessment: after topics 1 and 2 is a test; after topic 4 is a test work with open questions; after each seminars and practical lesson is assessment of student participation.
