Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the main categories and concepts of psychological science, the history of psychological knowledge, methods of psychology, the main information about mental phenomena, processes, states and their functioning under the influence of psychotropic drugs. 2. To be able to recognize the therapeutic effect and side effects of psychotropic drugs on the cognitive, emotional, volitional and value-motivational spheres of personality. 3. To have skills of scientific research, search, processing and analysis of information, use of information and communication technologies and basic competencies of psychological support of persons with mental disorders receiving psychopharmacotherapy.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline - mastering knowledge about the subject, method, features of the historical development of psychopharmacology, its current range of research and place in the system of related disciplines; understanding the patterns of effects of psychotropic drugs on the human body and psyche in the treatment of mental disorders. The course is devoted to the formation of practical skills of psychodiagnostics, psychotherapeutic interaction and psychological support of persons receiving psychopharmacotherapy. It reveals the features of the influence of different classes of psychotropic substances on the cognitive, emotional, volitional and value-motivational sphere of personality. The discipline is aimed at the formation of practical competencies of psychodiagnostic assessment of persons receiving psychopharmacotherapy and their further socio-psychological support.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment during the studying period: evaluation is carried out during the semester of all types of work. Additions and active participation in lectures are evaluated; The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 60. The final evaluation is conducted in the form of a test. The maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student is 40 points on a 100-point scale. Form of conducting - written. Types of tasks - open questions, creative tasks; A student is not allowed to take the exam if he / she scored less than 36 points during the semester. He is admitted to the exam if he completes 50% of the work provided for in the plan. Rating scale: Excellent - 90-100 points. Good - 75-89 points. Satisfactory - 60-74 points. Fail - 0-59 points.
