To know the system of conjunctural factors of commodity markets; sources of information collection on commodity market trends; system of market indicators and indices of international commodity markets; tools for analysis and forecasting of commodity markets; features of the pricing mechanism in international commodity markets; basics of technical and fundamental analysis, principles of use, features of implementation; concepts of trends, types of trends, features and skills of stock chart analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the basics of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics; methods of mathematical analysis; conceptual and terminological apparatus of macroeconomic policy, the main ways to regulate the main global macroeconomic processes, indicators of macroeconomic conditions, mechanisms of macroeconomic policy, tools and institutions of state regulation of macroeconomics, the possible consequences of macroeconomic events. world economy; mastering the skills of analytical research and analysis.

Thematic plan of the discipline: 1. Subject, methodology and basic concepts of international commodity markets. 2. Factors shaping the state of international commodity markets 3. The system of market indicators of international commodity markets 4. The mechanism and specifics of pricing in international commodity markets. 5. Methods of analysis of changes in international commodity markets Conjunctural parameters of trade on exchanges, fairs, auctions, exhibitions 6. Features of formation and methodology of research of the international oil and gas market 7. Research of the international commodity market of agricultural products 8. Features of the study, analysis of the situation and pricing in international markets for machinery and equipment

Assessment methods and criteria
Evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. Current control: answers (up to 30 points), additions (up to 5 points), written assignment (up to 5 points), final modular test (up to 10 points). The form of final control is a test. The test is conducted in writing. The student's answer to the test – up to 20 points.
