Learning outcomes
Demonstrate communication in dialogue with colleagues and the target audience, conduct professional scientific discussions, reflect in writing and present the results of their research in Ukrainian. Use theories and laws of physics, chemistry, biology and other sciences to solve current problems in the field of spa nutrition. Understand the basic terms and concepts of the structure of sanatoriums of Ukraine; Understand the basic terms and concepts of the scientific basis of dietary and therapeutic nutrition. Demonstrate knowledge of pathogenetic principles of dietary nutrition.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Food Chemistry", "Human Physiology", "Microbiology with microbiological diagnostics", "Medical Chemistry", "Biological Chemistry", "Food Technology". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of human physiology, food chemistry, medical chemistry, biological chemistry, food technology, etc. academic disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of comparative analysis.
Course content
"Spa-therapeutic nutrition" is a selective discipline that covers current issues of dietary and therapeutic nutrition of common diseases in sanatoriums, research in the field of technology for cooking for the sick and the construction of basic diets and their differentiated application taking into account metabolic disorders. The discipline is designed to highlight the nosological principle of building a system of therapeutic nutrition.
