Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, the place of ethics among the philosophical sciences. 2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena of culture, cultural processes and events; to single out actual socio-cultural problems and substantiate the principles and ways of solving them. 3. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; use of foreign language professional informative sources.
Course content
the goal of the discipline is to provide students with a holistic understanding of the range of issues of professional and corporate ethics as relevant fields of knowledge and practice, the specifics of methods of ethical and applied research and ethical judgments, and the ability to use them in solving specific analytical and research tasks regarding moral conflicts in modern practices . The discipline "Professional and corporate ethics" belongs to the list of mandatory disciplines and is taught in I (1 ECTS credit, 2 hours of lectures, 2 hours of seminars, 26 hours of independent work) and II (2 ECTS credits, 2 hours lectures, 2 hours of seminar classes, 54 hours of free work) in the semesters of the master's degree - in accordance with the curriculum of a specific philological educational program.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the learned material, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which makes up 40% of the total assessment, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.5); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.6), which is 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral response, additions, participation in discussions at lectures and seminars: RN1.1-1.3, 2.1-2.5, 3.1-3.3, 4.1-4.6 – 36/60 points.
2. Essay: PH1.1-1.4, 2.1, 2.3-2.5, 3.1-3.3, 4.1-4.3, 4.5, 4.6 – 12/20 points.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which includes the unsupervised work as well on processing theoretical material for classroom preparation: oral answers, additions, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (presentation preparation). All types of work for the semester have as a result:
In case of the mid-term control:
- in the maximum dimension of 100 points,
In case of the credit:
- in the maximum dimension of 100 points,
- a minimum of 60 points.
In case of absence from the seminar session, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar.
