Learning outcomes
PR01. Be able to apply modern mathematical methods to solve practical problems related to the research and design of biotechnological processes. Use knowledge of physics to analyze biotechnological processes. PR02. To be able to carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis of substances of inorganic, organic and biological origin using appropriate methods. PR06. Be able to determine and analyze the basic physicochemical properties of organic compounds that are part of biological agents (proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, lipids). PR 10-12, 20.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the courses "Biochemistry", "Fundamentals of Biotechnology". 2. be able to independently apply knowledge of biochemistry, biotechnology and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Possess basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in engineering enzymology by laboratories and other institutions of the relevant profile.
Course content
The discipline "Engineering Enzymology" should give students an idea of engineering enzymology, determine the place of engineering enzymology in a number of priority areas of biotechnology; deepen understanding of the physical, chemical and biochemical laws of biocatalysis, the features of its use in biotechnology; develop a vision of the prospects for the practical use of the achievements of engineering enzymology.
