Evaluate information on the diagnosis in the conditions of the health care institution, its subdivision, using the knowledge of the patterns of development and course of diseases in children, based on the results of laboratory tests

Prerequisites and co-requisites
– Acquiring basic theoretical knowledge of the most common non-communicable and infectious diseases of childhood, dispensary supervision of healthy and sick children in an outpatient setting. – Mastering basic practical skills and skills in diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment of complicated and uncomplicated forms of the most common non-communicable and infectious diseases of childhood; – Mastering the basic practical skills and skills to provide first aid in emergency situations in the most common non-communicable and infectious diseases of childhood. – Keeping medical records. – Formation in students of moral and ethical and deontological qualities in professional communication with a sick child and persons providing care for a child.
Course content
The subject of the discipline is the laws of physical and psychomotor development of children of different ages, anatomical and physiological features and semiotics of various organs and systems of the child's body, principles of clinical and laboratory diagnosis and differential diagnosis, modern principles of treatment of basic nosological forms in children of different ages. Pediatrics with evaluation of research results as a discipline is based on the study of medical biology, medical and biological physics, medical chemistry, biological and bioorganic chemistry, morphological disciplines, anatomy, histology, physiology and integrates with these disciplines.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment: 1. Module 1 - child development. 2. Module 2. Anatomical and physiological features, clinical picture and methods of examination, laboratory diagnostic methods to assess the results of the study of major diseases in children. The final control of mastering the module is carried out upon its completion on the final credit.
