To know modern means and forms of pedagogical work, the principles of building the pedagogical process, as well as the main methodological techniques and principles of teaching disciplines.
Be able to select the necessary literature on the subject of the lesson and draw up a lesson plan, prepare for theoretical and practical lessons, compile the educational, methodological and technical documentation necessary for the lesson, present the material to students in an accessible, consistent and understandable manner, conduct student surveys on control questions, advise students on the topic class, make an analysis of the class and make a report on it.
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the material of courses in professional disciplines.
2. To be able to apply previous knowledge of professional disciplines to solve problems and calculate experimental results of laboratory works.
Course content
As part of the "Tutoring practice" discipline, masters attend and conduct lectures, seminars, practical and laboratory classes. They familiarize themselves with teaching methods and take an active part in scientific and methodical work, engage in self-training. The practice contributes to the formation of the initial competence of masters in the implementation of independent pedagogical activities, the acquisition of skills in the organization of the educational process and conducting practical and laboratory classes in physical educational disciplines in institutions of higher education, the development and teaching of physical educational disciplines in institutions of higher education, professional pre-university, professional (vocational and technical ), general secondary and out-of-school education, the use of modern educational technologies and methods, to provide the necessary advisory and methodical support for education seekers. Tutoring practice provides not only theoretical knowledge about the basics of tutoring, but also, very importantly, practical tools for individual work with a learner, with the help of which you can find and develop his strengths and solve learning problems.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
In accordance with the curriculum of the educational and scientific program "Medical Physics", tutoring practice is carried out by master's students in the 3rd semester. The duration of practice is three weeks. The student visits the practice base five days a week. A student spends 6 hours a day at the practice base. Tutoring practice is conducted at the Faculty of Physics of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Students are attached to the Department of Molecular Physics, which is the graduate school for students of the "Master's" specialty "104 Physics and Astronomy" of the educational and scientific program "Medical Physics".
Assessment methods and criteria
Based on the results of the tutoring practice, the master fills in a diary and writes a report. The feedback of the head of the tutoring practice on the level of training and the quality of the master's lecture, laboratory and practical classes is attached to the report.
- semester assessment:
1. Survey of knowledge of modern means and forms of pedagogical work, principles of building the pedagogical process. (10 points).
2. Conducting classes (60 points).
3. Drawing up a diary and tutoring practice report (10 points).
- final evaluation in the form of a differentiated credit (20 points).
A student is not allowed to take credit if he scored less than 50 points during the semester.
The credit score cannot be less than 10 points to obtain an overall positive score for the course.
A student who has not completed the tutoring practice program without a valid reason is dismissed from the educational institution
