Learning outcomes
1. Prescribe and analyze additional (essential and optional) methods of investigation (laboratory, imaging, others) of patients with diseases of organs and systems of the body for the differential diagnosis. 2. Establish a final clinical diagnosis by making an informed decision and logical analysis of the obtained subjective and objective findings of clinical, additional investigations, differential diagnosis), adhering to the relevant ethical and legal norms, under the supervision of a physician in a medical institution 3. Determine the nature and principles of treatment of patients (conservative, surgical) with diseases in a health care facility, based on a working clinical diagnosis, following the relevant ethical and legal norms, by making an informed decision on existing algorithms and standard schemes, in case of need of expansion of the standard scheme to be able to substantiate the personalized recommendations under the supervision of a physician in a medical institution

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of fundamental disciplines 2. The ability to apply knowledge of Medical biology, Medical and biological physics, Medical informatics, Medical chemistry, Bioorganic and biological chemistry, Human anatomy, Histology, cytology and embryology, Physiology, Microbiology, virology and immunology, Life Safety; Basics of bioethics and biosafety, Pathomorphology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Propaedeutics of internal medicine and other disciplines independently to solve specific scientific and practical tasks; to work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Owning elementary skills of system analysis.
Course content
Urology covers the study of concepts, terminology, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in medical practice related to the provision of qualified medical care to patients for the full range of diseases of the genitourinary system, taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient and his attitude to the disease (compliance). The subject teaches to create a plan for examination of a urological patient and interpretation of research results, the provision of pre-hospital treatment and prevention and sanitary-preventive care, first aid in acute conditions and accidents
