Learning outcomes
PLO 14. To use Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres life. PLO 15. To carry out linguistic, literary and special philological analysis of texts of various styles and genres. PLO 22.1. To apply the knowledge of Polish and Lithuanian languages within the framework of linguistic and regional studies and tourism discourses. PLO 23.1. To be able to identify the national-cultural component in the structure of the Polish and Lithuanian languages. PLO 24.1 Apply receptions of literature and cultural realities in tourism discourse.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the disciplines "Introduction to Literary Studies", "History of Foreign Literature" and "Lithuanian Language"; knowledge of general information about the historical and cultural context of antiquity, the basics of literary terminology, the basics of the Lithuanian language; mastering the basic skills and abilities of tracking the evolution of literary genres, analyzing and interpreting literary works.
Course content
Within the scope of the discipline, the regularities of the literary process of Lithuania, the genesis and evolution of genera, genres and styles of Lithuanian literature, its problems, the influence of the Lithuanian literary tradition on the development of world literature are considered; the main works of representatives of modern Lithuanian literature are analyzed with the involvement of original texts; methods and techniques of literary analysis and interpretation of works of Lithuanian literature are studied. The task is to acquaint students with the peculiarities of the development of Lithuanian literature, its genre system, the evolution of directions and styles, the works of its outstanding representatives; formation of students' skills of critical literary analysis and skills of independent analytical reading, interpretation and interpretation of works of modern Lithuanian literature.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is delivered with the help of such teaching methods as lectures, seminars, students’ individual work. Forms of tuition include oral reports and group discussions at seminars, individual tasks, PowerPoint presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
The form of final control is an exam. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student during the semester. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (oral answers, tests) and for independent work. A student can get a minimum of 60 points per semester, 40 points on the exam, and a maximum of 100 points.
