PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state, Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO 14. To use Polish, English and Lithuanian languages orally and in writing, in various genre-stylistic varieties and registers of communication (official, unofficial, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres life. PLO 22.1. To apply the knowledge of Polish and Lithuanian languages within the framework of linguistic and regional studies and tourism discourses. PLO 23.1. To be able to identify the national-cultural component in the structure of the Polish and Lithuanian languages

Prerequisites and co-requisites
have a minimum vocabulary of Polish language, master the basics of grammar and syntax of Polish and Lithuanian languages; general linguistic terminology
Course content
The purpose of the course "Realities of Polish Linguistic Culture" is the formation of the personality of a specialist who is able to solve typical professional tasks related to the organization and implementation of the educational process of the Polish language; training of highly qualified specialists in the field of education with knowledge of the modern Polish language. The goals of the course include the formation of students' communicative competence based on linguistic, sociocultural and professional knowledge of the Polish language; the ability to freely express and discuss topics from the sphere of everyday life, education, culture, politics, ecology, etc. – orally and in writing; the ability to use acquired knowledge during the educational and educational process of the Polish language using traditional and innovative teaching methods

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is delivered with the help of such activities as oral reports and written tests. The teaching methods are lectures, seminars, creative and research projects, students’ individual work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The form of final control is intermediate control. Students’ performance during the term is the sum of the points accumulated for their work in classroom (oral reports, tests) and individual work. The minimum score for the term is 60 points, while the maximum score equals 100.
