Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the theoretical foundations of the content, structure, directions, areas of social and pedagogical activity; the specifics of social and pedagogical activity of social institutions.
To be able to analyze the existing legal framework that regulates social and pedagogical activities and social and pedagogical work with different categories of the population.
To have legal, organizational and methodological principles of social and pedagogical activity.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to develop students' legal literacy regarding the regulatory framework for the activities of a social educator and to define a professional position, professional boundaries in working with clients and in cooperation in interdisciplinary, interdepartmental teams of specialists and other representatives.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, practical class, individual work
Assessment methods and criteria
Students are evaluated during all types of classes and based on the results of independent work.
Oral answer (analysis of primary sources, regulatory documents) - 35 points (up to 5 points each); practical task - 5 points; module test - 20 points (up to 5 points each).
Final assessment: credit. The test is based on the results of the student's work during the semester. It is mandatory to pass the module tests and obtain a total of at least 60 points.
Grading scheme:
- Pass (60-100 points)
- Fail (0-59 points)
