Learning outcomes
Systematic mastering of the basic foundations of philosophy (awareness of first (bachelor) level higher education students in the traditions, teachings, methodologies, main philosophical problems and classical and non-classical approaches to their understanding existing in the development of philosophical thought), acquisition of skills that form thinking skills, development reflections, the ability to intellectual communication, linguistic and textological ability and personal value-volitional attitude.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Before starting this course, students should know the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process; to have basic factual knowledge of a humanitarian and social science nature.
2. To be able to collect and interpret information about the phenomena and phenomena of society, social processes and events; apply basic concepts in the analysis of social, political, economic, legal phenomena and processes; to reveal the modern features of the coexistence of human communities and societies in the conditions of globalization; plan and evaluate own work; use interactive and multimedia tools.
3. Have the skills to work with humanitarian texts; production of complex oral and written messages; interaction and cooperation in learning in exploratory situations.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work.
The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale.
The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are:
• complete disclosure of the issue
• the logic of presentation
• use of basic and additional literature
• analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
