Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with management as a science, practice and art of management in medical organizations, as well as to acquire practical skills in making managerial decisions aimed at solving problems of health care organizations and adapting their activities through marketing tools to dynamic changes in the environment; ability to determine the long-term prospects of the organization, to develop strategic decisions on the presence of the health care organization in the market and the impact on its viability

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Knowledge of basic theoretical foundations of psychology, sociology. 2. Be able to calculate economic indicators, process and analyze statistical information, work with electronic databases, scientific literature. 3. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
- systematization of ideas about management as a science, practice and art of management, the formation of managerial thinking and skills for self-determination and self-realization in professional activities; disclosure of the essence, content and significance of management in the activities of modern medical institutions; acquaintance with the basics of organization management; mastering by students of practical skills in the field of organization management; - systematization of students' ideas about marketing as a leading function of management, as a branch of science and professional activity
