Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the course, students should know the regulatory and legal framework of museum and monument protection matters, defined by national and international legislation; peculiarities of registration of monuments of history, archeology, monumental art, architecture, science and technology, monuments of garden and park art; methods of development and creation of monument protection documentation. Be able to draw up a registration card, a passport, a certificate of technical condition, a historical reference to sights, describe and classify the main categories of archaeological finds; to compile an inventory description of museum objects, to carry out a search and scientific inventory of monuments of history and culture; to determine objects of cultural heritage that should be converted into museums. Possess sufficient knowledge in the field of monument protection.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the types and types of monuments of cultural heritage of Ukraine. 2. Know the basic principles of museum work. 3. Possess elementary skills of archaeological typology and classification. 4. To have methods of recording archaeological monuments.
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 content modules. Each content module includes lectures, seminars, independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (ZM1) includes topics 1-4, content module 2 (ZM2) - topics 5-9.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of points of the student is formed by the semester points received from all topics of the two content modules (points received during seminar classes, oral surveys); points received for the performance of practical tasks; the points obtained during the module control, as well as the points obtained during the completion of the final control (credit), namely: for completing the proposed tasks. Assessment of students' knowledge success is carried out in two forms: semester assessment (tests, surveys, practical tasks) and final assessment (credit). The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentation • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
