Learning outcomes
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should know the system of state registration of cultural heritage objects and museum institutions of Ukraine; to be oriented in Ukrainian legislation, to be able to use the legal basis of protection of monuments - objects of cultural heritage; apply the acquired practical knowledge during field archaeological research and museum work; be able to make an inventory of museum collections, carry out conservation work on objects of cultural heritage and apply restoration methods for objects of museum importance.

1. Know the types and types of monuments of cultural and natural heritage of Ukraine. 2. Know the basic principles of museum work. 3. Know the general concepts of the main areas of activity of museums - scientific and fund work, exposition and cultural and educational activities. 4. To have methods of recording archaeological sources. 5. To be able to draw up monument protection documentation for monuments
Course content
The content of the course is divided into 2 meaningful modules. Each module includes lectures, seminars and independent work of students, which are completed by rating control of the level of assimilation of knowledge of the program material of the corresponding part of the course. Content module 1 (СM1) includes topics 1 - 7, content module 2 (СM2) - topics 8 - 16.

Assessment methods and criteria
The control of the student's knowledge is carried out according to the modular rating system. The total number of student points is formed by the semester points received from all topics of two content modules (points received for modular control papers (in the form of tests); points received for completing individual tasks; points received for work in seminar classes, as well as points which are received for the final control work. The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The criteria for evaluating a student's answer are: • complete disclosure of the issue • the logic of presentation • use of basic and additional literature • analytical reasoning, the ability to draw conclusions
