1. Be able to collect and interpret information, systematically organize factual material; have elementary skills of scientific research and information management; use the main methods of cultural analysis when studying the main stages and regularities of the historical development of society; have critical thinking skills.
2. Possess elementary skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude and forecasting regarding political, economic, cultural and artistic events and phenomena; the use of foreign language specialized cultural information sources.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment of semester work:
1. Self-study (summary of primary sources): 10 / 20 points
2.Self-study (analytical work): 26 / 40 points
3. Intermediate control work - 12 / 20 points
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of learning the material from the entire educational course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points obtained for Self-study (summary of primary sources, analytical work). All types of work for the semester have as a result:
- in the maximum dimension of 80 points
- a minimum of 48 points
Final control work in written form - 12 / 20 points
The final number of points for the discipline (maximum 100 points) is defined as the sum of points for systematic work during the semester, taking into account the final test. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures.
