Learning outcomes
Be able to solve the problems of managing access to information resources and processes in information and information and telecommunication (automated) systems; ensure the introduction of accountability of the access management system to electronic information resources and processes in information and information and telecommunication (automated) systems; to solve the tasks of managing the processes of restoring the normal functioning of the ITS using backup procedures in accordance with the established security policy; solve problems of ensuring the continuity of business processes of the organization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basics of information technology; system resources of computer systems and their characteristics; architecture and components of computer systems; IT architecture and components; common protocol stacks; main network architectures and services; modern types of external interfaces, their parameters; basic information security services; methods and means of information protection; international and national standards in the field of information and security technologies; basic approaches to incident management in the field of information security;
Possess elementary programming skills, use of mathematical methods in information systems and work in a network using client and server platforms.
Course content
The educational task of the discipline is to increase the level of knowledge of students in the development of complex systems for managing IT services in information and telecommunication systems by mastering basic knowledge of the theory of databases, acquiring skills and abilities in creating databases and working in the environment of a specific database management system. The learning outcomes are as follows: to gain knowledge of the methods and means of creating complex IT service management systems; to gain knowledge on the assessment of IT infrastructure capacities; the ability to assess the current availability of IT services and plan actions aimed at future service improvement; acquire the ability to effectively apply the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) library of methods and rules; acquire the ability to identify the composition and level of IT services based on the requirements of their consumers and suppliers; acquire the ability to control the acquisition of the established level of IT services; to acquire the ability to eliminate the possibility of IS incidents due to insufficient capacity of the company's IT infrastructure.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, practical classes, laboratory and independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The results of students' educational activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of assimilation of material from all topics of content modules, namely, the student's successful performance of laboratory and practical work and writing of modular test papers on content modules and the final test paper. The recommended minimum for admission to the exam is 36 points. The exam is valued at 40 points. The exam grade cannot be less than 24 points to receive an overall positive grade for the course.
