Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the basics of mycology, algology, physiology and biochemistry of plants and fungi in the normative disciplines taught in previous years of study. 2. Know the basics of asepsis and antiseptics. 3. Be able to identify fungi and algae in the amount determined by normative and special disciplines taught in previous years of study. 4. Have the skills to work in the laboratory, and the basic rules of working with aseptic cultures.
Course content
The discipline "Phytotechnology and industrial cultivation of fungi" is part of the educational program of training specialists at the educational level "Master" in the field of knowledge 10 "Natural Sciences" specialty 091 "Biology". This discipline is a discipline of the block of free choice of students majoring in "Plant Biology". The discipline is an integrated biological discipline that allows to form an idea of ​​the ways of using fungi and algae in human economic activity, to master the methods of mass cultivation of algae and fungi for the food and pharmaceutical industry, to solve the problem of endangered species.
