Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic methods of phytoindication and phytomonitoring research, the main sources of pollution and areas that primarily require monitoring and phytoremediation measures, the possibility of using plants in phytoindication, phytomonitoring and phytoremediation and the principles of reasonable use, conservation and reproduction of plants in natural conditions as the basis for the conservation of the gene pool of the biosphere, its biodiversity through the creation of protected areas and protected areas. 3. Be able to collect in natural conditions and record plant material for further laboratory research, evaluate and measure the main factors affecting plants, use plants in indication, monitoring and remediation methods. 4. Have basic phytoindication, phytomonitoring and phytoremediation methods for solving practical problems.
Course content
The discipline "Phytomonitoring and Phytoremediation" is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the educational level "Master" in the educational program "Biology" (specialization "Plant Biology"). It highlights the scientific basis of phytoindication, itomonitoring and phytoremediation of natural and man-made environment. Modern research methods and directions of environmental measures are presented. The global ecological problems of the biosphere and the possibilities of phytomonitoring research and phytoremediation measures in their solution are highlighted.
