Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
- preliminary study by students of zoology, botany, physics, chemistry and mathematics. It integrates with these disciplines, as a feature of this course is the manifestation physical, chemical, biological and other processes in the framework of their interaction and interdependence in the functioning of ecosystems; - have basic skills: work in the laboratory with hydrobiological material, use of aquatic determinants, compliance with safety rules and labor protection in the laboratory and in the field (successful training practices in animal ecology and plant ecology).
Course content
The discipline covers the study of concepts, terminology, principles, methods, methodological approaches and theories of modern hydroecology. In the course of studying the discipline, examples are given and the importance and practical application of the main hydroecological laws and principles for optimizing the state of hydroecosystems and rational use of nature. Emphasis is placed on the inextricable link between the state of hydroecosystems and public health.
