Learning outcomes
To evaluate critically and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations, diplomacy and international cooperation.
To know the nature of international communications, various formats of international cooperation, the problems of development of states and international regions in global, regional and local contexts. To carry out activities in diplomatic and other areas related to international cooperation.
To be able to organize and implement individual and group research projects in the field of international relations, world politics and international cooperation.
To interact with specialists from other fields in the development and implementation of applied and research projects in the field of international cooperation and diplomacy.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Тo have knowledge of the history and current state of European integration processes, their place in international relations.
2. To be able to analyze documents, laws of a contractual and political nature; to work with literature of the initial and scientific character.
3. To have the skills of political analysis and prognostication.
Course content
Module 1.
Regions in the system of international relations. Regionalism, regionalization Regions in the activities of the Council of Europe
Features of the international subjectivity of local and regional levels of government in European countries
EU regional and cohesion policy.
European regionalism.
Module 2.
Transnational cooperation. International transnational and cross-border regions. Euroregions
Ukrainian regions in international relations Paradiplomaticу or regional diplomacy
