Learning outcomes
Students’ achievements of such competencies as: ability to apply general theoretical and special scientific methods, categorical apparatus in solving problems that occur in risky relationships; ability to analyze the nature of risks in private law; model the technological component of ways to apply risks and manage them in private legal relations; ability to assess and suggest ways to minimize risks.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the basic aspects of the concept of risk in law; features of classification and content of risks in law; place of risk in the system of private law. Be able to identify and implement methodological approaches to identifying, assessing, coordinating and managing risks in the field of private law relations; distinguish between the concepts of risk and other related categories; analyze certain legal norms that are related to risk conditions; solve legal cases; build constructions to prevent negative consequences caused by various risks and provide ways to minimize risks in private law. Possess basic scientific skills in the application of economic and legal terminology in the field of risky private law relations.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting scientific and practical analysis of various aspects of the legal category of risk in private law. Theoretical and methodological principles of risk, legal sources are studied within the discipline; categorical apparatus and risk classification; the nature of risks and features of their occurrence; legal qualification of risks, methods of their use and management; practical aspects of minimizing risks in private relationships.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, individual assignments, express questionings, abstracts, development of a bank transaction project, independent work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: reports and research papers - from 6 to 10 points; express questioning - from 3 to 5 points; case resolution - from 5 to 7 points; presentation - from 5 to 10 points; discourse - from 5 to 8 points. The following are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the response; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of individual tasks. Missing for good reason seminar classes a student can work in extracurricular time (time of teacher consultations) through oral interviews, testing, preparation of scientific reports. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final test may be excluded from the final assessment. The final assessment of the student's knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
