Ability to analyze the acquired knowledge in the field of theoretical foundations of compulsory state social insurance, organizational and legal framework and types of compulsory state social insurance. Ability to systematize legislation on social insurance; determine the functioning type of a particular social insurance fund, type of provision and draft the relevant documents. Ability to substantiate the possibility of applying legal norms in the field of regulating the activities of state social insurance funds in resolving controversial issues that arise in the field of social security. Ability to document the amount and timing of the relevant types of social insurance.

Know the basic theoretical principles of compulsory state social insurance, organizational and legal framework and types of compulsory state social insurance provided in the social insurance system; concepts, principles, structure and types of state social insurance funds. Be able to use the concepts and categories of compulsory state social insurance, correctly analyze and apply legal norms on the activities of insurance funds, to resolve practical cases on their application.

Social insurance as a legal category. Organizational and legal bases of compulsory state social insurance. The main directions of reforming the national system of compulsory state social insurance. Pension Fund of Ukraine. The unified social tax and the obligatory state social insurance. Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine. Fund of obligatory state social insurance of Ukraine in case of unemployment.

Verbal: explanation, discussion, lecture, seminar, individual work and tasks. Visual: illustration, demonstration, self-observation. Practical: analysis of current local law-making practice, judicial practice, practical tasks.

The minimum score to be obtained by a student according to the established forms of assessment is 24 points. The maximum score that can be obtained by a student per semester is 40 points. The envisaged forms of semester assessment cannot exceed 40 points in total. The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the exam, to which the points obtained by the student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the exam may not be less than 36 points.
