External form

After studying the course "Tourist Country Studies", students should be able to freely navigate the theoretical material and: - identify and analyze the factors of tourism development (national, European, world level); - work with statistical, reference and cartographic materials; - to describe world, European, and national recreational and tourist resources; - to analyze the peculiarities of tourism development in the countries, regions of the world and Ukraine; - apply modern and traditional active learning methods when studying the discipline; - to possess the modern conceptual and terminological apparatus of tourist country studies.

The discipline reveals the purpose, tasks, thematic plan, the application of active learning methods, structural-logical and cartographic models in the training of specialists with higher tourist qualifications; methodical recommendations on the topics of the academic discipline and when performing individual tasks are outlined, questions for the exam, sources of information are given. The discipline is designed to show the objectivity of the multi-vector cooperation of the world community and Ukraine in the field of tourism in the conditions of globalization, under the conditions of compliance with national interests, ensuring the stability and stability of the world tourism system in conditions of economic fluctuations.

Lectures, seminars, practical work, self-study

For students who during the semester did not reach the minimum cut-off grade level (60% of the maximum possible number of points), a final semester test is conducted, the maximum grade for which cannot exceed 40% of the final grade (up to 40 points on a 100-point scale). The condition for obtaining a positive final grade in the discipline is to achieve at least 60% of the maximum possible number of points, while the grade for the learning outcomes provided for in points 2 and 3 cannot be less than 50% of the maximum level (at least 10, 15 and 5 points respectively). Final evaluation in the form of an exam: the maximum number of points on the exam - 40 points, the minimum number of points that are added to semester marks is 24 points (60% of the maximum number of points assigned to the exam).
