Prerequisites and co-requisites
- Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of personality psychology, the main personality theories of foreign and domestic authors; basics of social psychology, developmental psychology and psychological counseling. - The ability to evaluate and analyze the causes and consequences of the influence of social, economic, informational and cultural conditions on the personality, the peculiarities of its formation and socialization. - Possess elementary skills to define, analyze and explain mental phenomena, identify psychological problems, and propose solutions.
Course content
Discipline "Personality Psychology in the Modern World" - belongs to the list of disciplines to choose; - aimed at studying the psychological consequences of the influence on the personality of the conditions of the modern world (globalization, digital and information technologies, communication networks, economic realities, the labor market, modern lifestyle, etc.), psychological effects and personality problems in the modern world; - forms the professional thinking of a researcher who studies the influence of modern socio-cultural trends on the individual, and the practice of providing psychological assistance to the individual in view of the realities of today; practical skills of assessing and analyzing personality problems in the modern world and providing her with adequate psychological help; - consists of four meaningful parts: the 1st is devoted to the study of personality and the influence on it of the challenges of the modern world; 2nd – the influence on the personality of the realities of the information society; 3rd – influence on the personality of modern economic realities; 4-a – influence of the modern way of life on the personality.

Assessment methods and criteria
The grade is formed as the sum of all points scored during the semester. Oral answers (speech at the seminar, participation in discussions and debates): 24/14 points. Analytical report: 24/14 points. Creative independent work: 32/20 points. Final test: 20/12 points. The maximum number of points for work during the semester is 100. The final assessment is conducted in the form of credit. 0-59 – not credited; 60-100 credit.
