Learning outcomes
Knowledge of the methods of mathematical modelling of life expectancy and properties of financial flows. Ability to calculate the risks of insurance contracts in pension and health insurance.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of discrete mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics.
Course content
Study of the properties of the survival function, mortality rate, residual life expectancy and other characteristics of life expectancy models. Introduction to the mortality tables. Analysis of life insurance models. Evaluation of the properties of insurance annuities. Calculation of net premiums for long-term health insurance.
