Learning outcomes
To know: theoretical constructions of a representative number of different models, which allows a deep understanding of the principles of management of international macroeconomic processes in open economies and traditional for international economic relations issues of foreign trade, exchange rate and capital flow management. The student will be able to: operate with theoretical tools of international macroeconomics; to study and analyze the macroeconomic environment of national economies in the international context; search, process and analyze information from various sources; make informed decisions on the establishment of international economic relations at all levels of their implementation; analyze models of development of national economies; identify and assess the manifestations of economic globalism, challenges and imbalances of global development and their impact on international economic relations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must have the theoretical apparatus of basic economic science, which underlies the entire system of economic knowledge and have a scientific economic worldview and a holistic view of the functioning of the economy as a whole; analyze and forecast macroeconomic processes; understand the essence, purpose and use of the main macroeconomic indicators, as well as identify the relationships between them; to have the tools of economic theory of state regulation of national production; know and be able to apply the methodology and tools of research of economic processes and phenomena and on this basis to build standard theoretical and econometric models, analyze and interpret the results.
Course content
Module test I. On the way to a new macroeconomic consensus: theoretical tools of international macroeconomics. Analytical models of open economy: opportunities and limitations in the interpretation of modern international macroeconomics. Modeling of international macroeconomics from the standpoint of balance of payments. Module test II. Currency and monetary levers of international macroeconomics. International macroeconomics in the context of global imbalances. International coordination of macroeconomic policy in cooperation and competition strategies.

Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: 1. During the answer at the seminar (participation in the discussion); 2. In the form of testing on the e-learning platform; 3. In the form of discussion of the results of scientific research on topics that contribute to the achievement of educational goals; 4. In the form of writing scientific essays in the direction specified in the list of test tasks in the case of: 1) lack of oral answer during the seminar; 2) absence at the seminar for justified reasons, which is confirmed by the relevant certificates; 3) in case of preparation for participation in international or Ukrainian scientific-practical conferences, which provide for the publication of abstracts. 5. In the form of a presentation based on the results of the study, which should be uploaded to the e-learning platform in a predetermined time.
