Learning outcomes
Know the notions in international economic and business statistics and statistical analysis methods; the sources of international economic and business-statistics; methods of graphical and correlation analysis; the algorithm of the analyses of proportions and means, and treatment of missing dat . Be able to find the necessary international economic statistical data for further analysis; to apply software for statistical analysis; to perform statistical analysis of economic and business information; to interpret the results of statistical analysis, to consider limitations of the input data and quantitative methods, to adjust the algorithm of analysis. Master the skills of conducting discussions during search of statistical information; conducting discussions during interpreting results of statistical analysis. Make and rationalize a decision on selecting the method of statistical analysis; decision in international business and finance after performing statistical analysis.
