PRS 6. To use professional arguments to transmit information, ideas, problems and ways of their solving to professionals and non-professionals in the field of economic activity. PRS9. To realize the main features of the modern world and national economy, the institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state. PRS13. To identify sources and understand the methodology of determination and methods for obtaining socio-economic data, collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and social indicators. PRS21. To be able to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify the key characteristics of economic systems of various levels, as well as the peculiarities of their subjects' behavior. PRS22. To demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in new situations, in working with new objects and in uncertain conditions.

1. To know: basic concepts of economic theory, fundamentals of the mechanism of functioning and development of the economy, principles of state economic policy. 2. To have the skills of forming an information base for macroeconomic environment research, organization of statistical information processing and its analysis, use of modern information technologies, statistical data visualization tools.

The program of the academic discipline consists of two content modules: module 1 "Macroeconomic tools", which includes the following topics: theoretical-methodological foundations of statistical research of economic processes; information and analytical provision of statistical study of socio-economic systems at the macrolevel; main classifications and categories; SNA as a tool of macroanalysis, methods of calculating GDP; national wealth statistics; price and tariff statistics; module 2 "Macroeconomic analysis of sectors and processes", which covers the following topics: statistics of the financial and budget-tax sector; labor market statistics; foreign economic activity statistics; evaluation of the positioning of countries in the system of international ratings by integral indicators; economic surveys as a source of economic (business, consumer) activity and optimism indicators; statistics of the efficiency of the functioning of the economy at the macrolevel.
