Learning outcomes
1. Be able to determine the peculiarities of the formation and implementation of foreign policy strategies, the content of modern views on the nature of foreign policy strategies and strategic planning. 2. To evaluate the events and processes of international relations and foreign policy, taking into account the features of the modern diplomatic service and the norms of diplomatic protocol and etiquette, to be able to apply this specific knowledge in foreign policy practice and for the organization and conduct of international negotiations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of the disciplines "International Relations and World Politics", "Theory of International Relations", "International Organizations", "Energy and Environmental Problems in International Relations", "Fundamentals of National and International Security"; 2) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of political science, historical prerequisites for the formation of the foreign policy of the states of the world and modern international political processes.
Course content
Topic 1. Nuclear programs of states possessing nuclear weapons. Topic 2. Nuclear programs of de facto nuclear states. Topic 3. Case studies of the DPRK, South Africa and Iran. Topic 4. Treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. Topic 5. Nuclear disarmament of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Topic 6. Nonproliferation of WMD and international organizations in the field of WMD non-proliferation. Topic 7. Regimes of control in the field of non-proliferation of WMD. Topic 8. Conventions on chemical and biological weapons.

1) modular control – up to 60 points (30+30) for two modules 2) examination control – up to 40 points for written examination work
