Learning outcomes
To evaluate critically and analyze global processes and their impact on international relations, diplomacy and international cooperation. To identify, assess and anticipate political, diplomatic, security, social and other risks in the field of international relations and global development. To assess and analyze international, foreign policy and diplomatic problems and situations, propose approaches to solving such problems. To be able to organize and implement individual and group research projects in the field of international relations, world politics and international cooperation. To demonstrate the ability to further study with a high level of autonomy.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the history of international relations and the basics of international law. 2. To be able to analyze the dynamics of interstate diplomatic cooperation taking into account a combination of political and economic factors. 3. To possess basic skills of political analysis, analysis of international situations and impact analysis.
Course content
Content module 1 • The concept of "international organization". • Mechanism of functioning of international organizations • Conceptual and methodological principles of studying the role of international organizations in the system of international relations Content module 2 • Defining the role of international organizations in solving today's global problems • Activities of international organizations to address the global problem of environmental protection. • Activities of international organizations in the field of maintaining international peace and security. • International organizations in the fight against international terrorism • Efforts of international organizations to solve demographic problems

Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral answers, comments, blitz poll, discussion, problems – up to 35 points. 2. Tasks for individual work (case study presentation) – up to 10 points. 3.Module control work – up to 15points. 4. Examination - up to 40 points.
