            Learning outcomes
        
        
            ПР 01.  Know and be able to apply in practice differential and integral calculus, Fourier series and integrals, analytic geometry, linear algebra and vector analysis, functional analysis and discrete mathematics to the extent necessary to solve typical problems of system analysis.
ПР 09.  To be able to create effective algorithms for computational problems of system analysis and decision-making systems.
ПР 015.  Understand Ukrainian and foreign languages at a level sufficient for processing professional informational and literary sources, professional oral and written communication, writing texts on professional topics.

            Prerequisites and co-requisites
        
        
            To study the discipline "Algebra and Geometry" the student must know the school courses of the disciplines of geometry, algebra and basics of analysis, be able to use the basic apparatus of these disciplines.
        
    
            Course content
        
        
            The subject of the discipline "Algebra and Geometry" is the study of basic methods for solving problems in analytic geometry, methods for solving systems of linear equations, the basic properties of linear spaces. The discipline is a prerequisite for the study of such disciplines "Operations Research", "Functional Analysis" and others.

            1 semester, 180 hours, (7 ECTS credits), in particular: lectures - 42 hours, practical classes - 42 hours, consultations - 2 hours, independent work - 94 hours. 
2nd semester 240 hours, (7 ECTS credits) in particular: lectures – 50 hours, practical classes – 50 hours, consultations – 2 hours, independent work – 138 hours.

First semester
1. Test work № 1: PH 1.1, PH 2.1, - 27/15 points.
2. Test work № 2: PH 1.2, PH 1.3, PH 1.4, PH PH 2.2, PH 2.3 - 27/15 points
3. Points for the working on problem sessions  6/0 points
Second semester
1. Test work № 1: PH 1.5, PH 2.4 - 27/15 points.
2. Test work № 2: PH 1.6, PH 1.7, PH 2.5, PH 2.6 - 27/15 points
3. Points for the working on problem sessions  6/0 points
Final assessment (in the form of an exam):
- Maximum number of points that can be obtained by a student: 40 points.
