Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful completion of the course "Second Oriental Language (Chinese)"; 2. Knowledge of the theoretical and practical foundations of the course "Second Oriental Language (Chinese)"; 3. Mastery of lexical and grammatical models and structures; mastery of the volume of vocabulary that meets the requirements of the program "Second Oriental Language (Chinese)". 4. Ability to use the Chinese language fluently, flexibly, and effectively in oral and written form, in various genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, and neutral), to solve communicative tasks in various spheres of life.
Course content
to deepen students' skills in Chinese (oral and written) for academic and business purposes, to practice translation from and into Chinese, to teach grammatical and lexical models and constructions, and to teach them to use Chinese at the appropriate level of language and speech training.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course provides for the following forms of learning organization: practical classes conducted using interactive teaching methods, and independent work. The main types of work and, accordingly, the objects of semester control are: classroom work, answers in practical classes, presentations, and module tests with open answers. The detailed planned educational activities and teaching methods are presented in the discipline's work program, published on the official website of the Educational and Research Institute of Philology.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training-learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training-learning outcomes (skills 2.1–2.4); communication (3.1–3.2); autonomy and responsibility (4.1), which is 60% of the total grade.
