Learning outcomes
PLO 3. To apply modern methods and technologies, including information technologies, for successful and effective implementation of professional activities and quality assurance of research in the field of Vietnamese philology. PLO 9. To characterize the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, basic concepts, etc.) and applied aspects of Vietnamese philology. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic and literary facts; interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres. PLO 11. Carry out scientific analysis of linguistic, speech, and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, and formulate generalizations based on independently processed data. PLO 16. To use specialized conceptual knowledge of Vietnamese philology to solve complex problems and issues that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete or insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

1. Successful completion of courses: "Fundamentals of Translation Theory," "Fundamentals of Translation Practice," etc. from the Bachelor's degree program; 2. Knowledge of the basics of general translation theory; 3. Knowledge of the basics of practical translation; 4. Ability to translate from Vietnamese
Course content
The course aims to enhance students' comprehension of translation theory and equip them with Vietnamese-Ukrainian translation techniques and strategies. The course aims to enhance students' comprehension of translation theory and equip them with Vietnamese-Ukrainian translation techniques and strategies. Within this course, students will learn how to determine translation quality using impartial criteria and what it takes to be a professional translator. They will additionally learn how to select the most suitable translation approach for a given context. A research emphasis is included in this course. The course consists of two modules: Module 1, which covers theoretical and pragmatic aspects of translation, and Module 2. Modeling Translation Activities. This material is intended for one semester, featuring lectures, seminars, and independent student research. The course culminates in a written exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
The evaluation of knowledge is conducted through the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training-learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1–1.3), which is 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training-learning outcomes (skills 2.1–2.2), autonomy and responsibility (4.1), and communication (3.1), which is 60% of the total grade.
