Learning outcomes
PLO 6. To apply the knowledge and skills necessary to provide translation from an oriental language into Ukrainian and vice versa in various fields and industries. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of different styles and genres into Crimean Tatar, English and Turkish. PLO12. Adhere to the rules of academic integrity. PLO14. Create, analyze and edit texts of different styles and genres. PLO 19. Perform interpretation and translation to provide specialized translation from Turkish into Ukrainian and vice versa in various professional fields.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know: grammatical categories and means of the Turkish language; vocabulary and phraseology of modern Turkish; different literary styles; translation methods, techniques and methods of translation. Be able to: use the Turkish language fluently, flexibly and effectively in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers communication to solve translation problems; ability to apply knowledge and skills necessary to create an adequate written and oral translation of texts of various genres and styles from Turkish into Ukrainian and vice versa. Possess basic skills: perform bilateral translation, abstract and annotate, edit translations of special and literary texts general and special topics.
Course content
Formation of students' practical skills in translation and interpretation in real socio-economic conditions based on theoretical knowledge gained at the Educational and Research Institute of Philology, awareness of the professional significance of this knowledge; mastering the ability to solve practical problems, consolidating such skills in real conditions of translation and interpretation, fostering in them the desire to systematically update and improve the acquired knowledge, and creatively apply it in their practical activities. The basic structural unit that provides the internship is the Department of Turkology. The bases of internships are determined by the relevant unit and are as follows: Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Turkey in Ukraine (TIKA), Turkish Information and Research Center of the ERS. The responsible persons for organizing the internship are the heads of the internship sites and the teachers of the department responsible for the internship.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practical work (consultations with professional translators and responsible persons at practice sites in an online format; individual work with sources; performing various types of translation).
Assessment methods and criteria
The system of current, substantive, and final control in translation practice consists of four content parts (45 hours). The results of students' practical activities are evaluated on a 100-point scale. Types of work: 1. Fulfillment of orders, instructions and guidelines of the supervisors of the internship: 1 - 10 points. 2. Compliance with internal regulations without practice: 1 - 10 points. 3. Feedback from the institution where the translation internship took place: 1 - 10 points. 4. Work diary: 1 - 10 points. 5. The translation itself: 1 - 20 points. 6. Glossary: 1 - 20 points. 7. Written report of the student in writing, which should indicate the timing of the internship, the place of completion and the scope of the tasks performed: 1 - 10 points. 8. Defense of reporting materials: 1 - 10 points.
